Confused about which courses to take in next quarter…?
We are very excited to inform you about our new initiative of compiling a course-log for our PhD students in the department. We are trying to build a course feedback sheet where we can access the details and feedback about courses from first-hand experiences of our departments’ PhD students. These feedbacks about the elective courses and other department courses can guide all of us better to make decisions of whether to take a course or not? At what stage should we take a particular course? How does a particular course relate to the research in IEMS?
Please refer to the spreadsheet containing feedback about a few courses as of now, contributed by some of our PhD students. This might help you for making decisions about the upcoming quarters.
We would also appreciate your help to keep on making contributions to this sheet by adding any of the non-core courses that you do. We really appreciate your time and willingness to help others.
Please refer to the sheet, where you can access your course specific department tab to see and add its details there. If possible, please add your feedback along with others, if that course is already added in the sheet, otherwise do write your response by adding your course in a new row.
We believe that adding at least two courses by all of us can make this document exhaustive and valuable for all of us and thus, guide coming batches of IEMS PhD students.
